Jarosław Kaliski in the Polish Institute of Culture in Bucharest

 

In the result of the I. J. Paderewski Music Association in Bydgoszcz, the organizer of the VII International Paderewski Piano Competition’s contacts with the Polish Institutes of Culture, Mr Jarosław Kaliski performed with two concerts in Romania and Moldavia.

He played two concerts on the anniversary of the Frederick Chopin's birthdays, which fall on the February, 22nd.The same day our pianist turn twenty two.. Recitals took place in the National George Enescu Museum (the largest Romanian composer) in Bucharest (February 22nd, 2006) as well as in the Organ Hall in Kiszyniów (February 24th, 2006).

 

Jarosław Kaliski, young pianist born in Konin in 1984. He is a student of the class of the piano in Nowowiejski Music Academy in Bydgoszcz. His teacher is Professor Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń. He is the laureate of the national competitions (I Prize in National Piano Competition i Łódź in 1999, II Prize in the Frances Music Interpretation Competition in Łódź in 2000, the distinction on the Piano Festival in Siedlce) and international (the distinction on the Artur Rubinstein Competition in Memoriam Bydgoszcz 2001, the Special Prize in International Piano Competition in Brema in 2005). He gave concerts in Poland, Italy (Flor ence), Ukraine (Kijów), in Germany.

Both of the concerts was received with huge interest of the public and with the great admiration and enthusiasm. Concerts took place on full halls.

Young pianist's performance was judged by Romanian and Moldavian music lovers and musical critics very high. In spite of the young age, Kaliski Jarosław showed that he is the mature virtuoso and the perfect musician.
