Three honorary mentions for best participants of the second stage who did not qualify for the finale were received by ( 1000 USD):

Katarzyna Borek from Poland received the prize for the best performance of I. J. Paderewski composition (500 USD).

Additionally the jury awarded the participants with non-statutory prizes:

1. Dominika Maria Eska, 1000 USD, funded by the Club of Bydgoszcz and Kujavia Region in Chicago, USA
2. Katarzyna Borek, Polska, a Yamaha piano, sponsored by the Foundation of Regina Smendzianka
3. Tomomi Okumura, Japan, 1000 USD funded by Christine Smith (USA) and a concert in California, upon the invitation of Paso Robles Foundation for Culture and Art.
4. Vladimir Milosevic, prize gift (a painting) funded by the Voivode of Piła
5. Katarzyna Borek, Poland, a concert organized by the Domestic Concert Office and a fee in the amount of 2000 PLN, sponsored by the Foundation of Regina Smendzianka
6. Tomomi Okumura, Japan, a concert funded by the I. J. Paderewski Pomeranian Philharmonic during the 38th Music Festival, September 1999.
